Pacific Rim Visual Directory

The Pacific Rim Visual Directory attempts to address several different facets of the pacific rim new media arts community. In one aspect it acts as a tool for analyzing trends in regionally associated individuals creative interests, in another way it acts as a social networking tool for discovering artists with the same interests as you, and in yet another way it acts as an emergent organization of collaborations and organizations. The visual directory makes associations between relationships by drawing a yellow line for a shared interest, an orange line for a shared organization affiliation, and a red line if the two artists have collaborated together. By clicking on a red dot you can explore a short profile of the artist that it represents. To add yourself to the directory, simply zoom in on your location and press the shift button while clicking, and you will be prompted with an input form.
